About

How I think

I’m drawn to the gap between what people say and what actually moves them — the behavioural, slightly irrational layer underneath most decisions. That’s as true of a subscriber deciding whether to cancel as it is of a person deciding what kind of life they want. I like frameworks, but I don’t fully trust one until I’ve watched it fail somewhere first.

What I’m curious about

Psychology, human behaviour, relationships, identity, ambition, creativity, and — underneath most of that — what it actually takes to build a life that feels meaningful rather than just impressive on paper. I read and think about this constantly, and I’m slowly getting more comfortable writing about it in public before I’ve fully figured it out.

What I make

Writing, mostly. Some watercolour, some photography, occasional recipes worth remembering, and a long list of small creative experiments that don’t have a clear purpose and don’t need one.

What I value

Honesty over polish. Curiosity over certainty. Depth over speed, most of the time. I’d rather build something slowly and actually believe in it than move fast toward something I don’t.
